     Mary Leonard was the daughter of John Leonard.1 She married Hon. James Massy-Dawson, son of Hugh Massy, 1st Baron Massy of Duntrileague and Mary Dawson.1 She died on 26 May 1805.1

     James Hewitt Massy-Dawson was born on 13 September 1779.1 He was the son of Hon. James Massy-Dawson and Mary Leonard.1 He married Eliza Jane Dennis, daughter of Francis Dennis, on 11 March 1800.1 He died on 2 October 1834 at age 55.1
     James Hewitt Massy-Dawson was baptised with the name of James Hewitt Massy.1 On 4 April 1827 his name was legally changed to James Hewitt Massy-Dawson by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).1 He lived at Ballynacourte, County Tipperary, Ireland.1
