     Her married name became Boyd.

     Major Lewis Coker was born on 7 November 1890.2 He was the son of James Gould Coker and Florence Emily Scholefield.2 He married Doreen Margaret Helen Chichester, daughter of Major Spencer Frederick Chichester and Helen Elizabeth Coats, on 8 August 1925.1 He and Doreen Margaret Helen Chichester were divorced in 1940.1 He died on 14 January 1944 at age 53, killed on active service.2
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Essex Regiment.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Flying Corps.2 He fought in the First World War.2
