     Major Hon. Arthur Hay was born on 16 September 1855.1 He was the son of Major William Harry Hay, 19th Earl of Erroll and Eliza Amelia Gore.1 He died on 11 May 1932 at age 76, unmarried.1

      Her married name became Wolrige-Gordon.

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign between 1885 and 1886.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 79th Cameron Highlanders.2 He fought in the First World War.1
