     George Alan Brodrick, 5th Viscount Midleton of Midleton was born on 10 June 1806.1 He was the son of George Brodrick, 4th Viscount Midleton of Midleton and Maria Benyon.1 He married Ellen Griffiths on 14 May 1833 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 He died on 1 November 1848 at age 42, without issue, by suicide.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Brodrick of Peper Harow, co. Surrey [G.B., 1796] on 12 August 1836.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Midleton of Midleton, co. Cork [I., 1717] on 12 August 1836.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Brodrick of Midleton, co. Cork [I., 1715] on 12 August 1836.1
