     Lady Sarah Lennox was born in 1792 at Ireland.2 She was the daughter of General Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond and Lady Charlotte Gordon.1 She married General Sir Peregrine Maitland, son of Thomas Maitland and Eliza Mathew, on 9 October 1815 at Paris, France.1,2 She died on 8 September 1873 at Hampton Court Palace, London, England.1,2
     Her married name became Maitland.

She was the daughter of General Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond and Lady Charlotte Gordon.1,2 She married Admiral Maurice Frederick FitzHardinge Berkeley, 1st Baron FitzHardinge of Bristol, son of Frederick Augustus Berkeley, 5th Earl of Berkeley and Mary Cole, on 4 December 1823.1 She died on 20 August 1833.1
     Her married name became Berkeley.

She was the daughter of General Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond and Lady Charlotte Gordon.1 She married Colonel Lord Thomas Cecil, son of Henry Cecil, 1st Marquess of Exeter and Sarah Hoggins, on 7 August 1838.1 She died on 17 January 1902 at age 92.1
     Her married name became Cecil.

     General Sir Peregrine Maitland was born on 6 July 1777 at Longparish, Hampshire, England.3 He was the son of Thomas Maitland and Eliza Mathew.4 He married, firstly, Hon. Harriet Louisa Crofton, daughter of Sir Edward Crofton, 2nd Bt. and Anne Croker, Baroness Crofton of Mote, on 8 June 1803 at St. George Hanover SQuare, London, England.4,3 He married, secondly, Lady Sarah Lennox, daughter of General Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond and Lady Charlotte Gordon, on 9 October 1815 at Paris, France.4,3 He died on 30 May 1854 at age 76 at London, England.4,3
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1 He held the office of Governor of the Cape of Good Hope.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Madras Army.4
