     Robert Andrew Carnegie, 13th Earl of Northesk was born on 24 June 1926.1 He was the son of John Douglas Carnegie, 12th Earl of Northesk and Dorothy May Campion.1 He married, firstly, Jean Margaret MacRae, daughter of Captain John Duncan George MacRae and Lady Phyllis Hervey, on 20 July 1949.1 He married, secondly, Brownie Elizabeth Grimason, daughter of John Scott Grimason and Elizabeth Margueritta Smith, in 1989.1 He died on 26 January 1994 at age 67.1,2
     He wrote the book Diary of an Island Glen.1 He was a cattle breeder.1 He succeeded as the 13th Earl of Northesk [S., 1647] on 22 July 1975.1 He succeeded as the 13th Lord Rosehill and Eglismauldie [S., 1639] on 22 July 1975.1

     Jean Margaret MacRae was the daughter of Captain John Duncan George MacRae and Lady Phyllis Hervey.1 She married Robert Andrew Carnegie, 13th Earl of Northesk, son of John Douglas Carnegie, 12th Earl of Northesk and Dorothy May Campion, on 20 July 1949.1 She died in 1989.1
     Her married name became Carnegie. After her marriage, Jean Margaret MacRae was styled as Countess of Northesk on 22 July 1975.

James MacNaghten McGarel-Hogg, 1st Baron Magheramorne of Magheramorne1

     James MacNaghten McGarel-Hogg, 1st Baron Magheramorne of Magheramorne was born on 3 May 1823.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir James Weir Hogg, 1st Bt. and Mary Claudine Swinton.1,2 He married Hon. Caroline Elizabeth Emma Douglas-Pennant, daughter of Edward Gordon Douglas-Pennant, 1st Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai and Juliana Isabella Mary Dawkins-Pennant, on 31 August 1857.3,4 He died on 27 June 1890 at age 67.1
     He was given the name of James MacNaghten Hogg at birth.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st Life Guards.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Bath between 1865 and 1868.2 He was chairman of the Metropolitan Board of Works between 1870 and 1889.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Truro between 1871 and 1885.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1874.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hogg, of Upper Grosvenor Street, co. Middlesex [U.K., 1846] on 27 May 1876.1 On 8 February 1877 his name was legally changed to James MacNaghten McGarel-Hogg by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Hornsey between 1885 and 1887.2 He was created 1st Baron Magheramorne of Magheramorne, co. Antrim [U.K.] on 5 July 1887.1
