     Katharine Mangles was the daughter of Ross Donelly Mangles. She married Augustus John Elliot, son of John Edmund Elliot and Amelia Casamaijor, on 23 November 1869. She died on 22 May 1912.

     F/Lt. Archibald Guthrie Elliot was born on 17 February 1898. He was the son of Ninian Lewis Elliot and Aemilia Margaret Guthrie. He married Evelyn Agnes Buchhanan, daughter of A. Alexander Buchhanan, on 7 January 1929. He died on 2 October 1931 at age 33.
     F/Lt. Archibald Guthrie Elliot gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy. He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Air Force.

     Helen Alice Elliot was born on 5 September 1899. She is the daughter of Ninian Lewis Elliot and Aemilia Margaret Guthrie.2 She married, firstly, Guy Fife Earle, son of Cecil Arthur Earle and Isabella Scott, on 10 November 1924.1 She and Guy Fife Earle were divorced in 1928.1 She married, secondly, Malcolm Douglas Lyon on 9 May 1928. She died in 1967.1
     From 10 November 1924, her married name became Earle. From 9 May 1928, her married name became Lyon.

     Guy Fife Earle was born on 24 August 1891.1 He was the son of Cecil Arthur Earle and Isabella Scott.2 He married, firstly, Isabel Bridget Boughton-Knight, daughter of Andrew Greville Rouse-Boughton-Knight and Isabel Harriet Heber-Percy, on 6 June 1918.3 He and Isabel Bridget Boughton-Knight were divorced in 1922.3 He married, secondly, Helen Alice Elliot, daughter of Ninian Lewis Elliot and Aemilia Margaret Guthrie, on 10 November 1924.1 He and Helen Alice Elliot were divorced in 1928.1 He married, thirdly, Bridget Joan Sherston, daughter of Peter Davis Sherston, on 26 April 1935.1 He died on 30 December 1966 at age 75.1
     Guy Fife Earle was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Rifle Brigade.3 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Air Force.1
