     James Hunter Blair was born on 22 March 1817.¹ He was the son of Sir David Hunter Blair of Blairquhan, 3rd Bt. and Dorothea Hay-Mackenzie.² He died on 5 November 1854 at age 37 at Inkerman, Crimea, Russia, killed in action.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ayrshire between 1852 and 1854.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Scots Fusiliers Guards.¹ He fought in the Crimean War in 1854.¹

     Sophia Biscoe was born in 1800 at Whitbourne, Herefordshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Vincent Hilton Biscoe.¹

     Maria Dorothea Hunter Blair was the daughter of Sir David Hunter Blair of Blairquhan, 3rd Bt. and Dorothea Hay-Mackenzie.² She married Sir Walter Elliot of Wolfelee on 15 January 1839.¹ She died on 24 December 1890.¹
      From 15 January 1839, her married name became Elliot.

     Sir Walter Elliot of Wolfelee married Maria Dorothea Hunter Blair, daughter of Sir David Hunter Blair of Blairquhan, 3rd Bt. and Dorothea Hay-Mackenzie, on 15 January 1839.¹ He died on 1 March 1887.¹
     He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.).¹ He lived at Wolfelee, Roxburghshire, Scotland.¹

     Patrick Francis Coffey was born on 13 November 1932 at Christchurch, New Zealand.¹ He married Margaret Anne Wood, daughter of Albert Evelyn Wood and Agnes May Mellor, on 7 April 1956 at Christchurch, New Zealand.¹

     Nellie Alleyne was born in 1889.¹ She married William Sprague Swinscow.¹ She died in 1970.¹
      Her married name became Swinscow.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Alan Colquhoun Burnett married Joanna Law-Smith, daughter of Walter Henry Law-Smith and Joanna Pauline Lydia Nitschke, before 1938.¹ He and Joanna Law-Smith were divorced before 1938.¹
     He gained the rank of Paymaster Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal NAvy.¹

     Penton Hunter Blair was born on 5 January 1856.¹ He was the son of John Hunter Blair and Emily Williams Grant.² He died on 26 April 1882 at age 26.¹
