     Herbert Oliver Huntington-Whiteley was born on 27 February 1920.1 He was the son of Sir Herbert Maurice Huntington-Whiteley, 2nd Bt. and Lady Pamela Margaret Baldwin.2 He died in September 1944 at age 24 at France, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Marines.1
