     Thomas Holt Hutchison was born on 10 February 1861.¹ He was the son of Peter Adam Hutchison and Marion Holt.² He married Florence Riley, daughter of James Riley, on 22 January 1890.¹ He died on 22 June 1918 at age 57.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in 1890 in the service of the Highland Light Infantry.¹ He was Town Councillor of Glasgow in 1910.¹ He held the office of Baillie of Glasgow in 1916.¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1917 in the service of the Lanarkshire Volunteers.¹

     Florence Riley was the daughter of James Riley.² She married Thomas Holt Hutchison, son of Peter Adam Hutchison and Marion Holt, on 22 January 1890.¹ She died on 27 October 1939.¹

     James Riley Holt Hutchison of Rossie, 1st Bt. was born on 10 April 1893.¹ He was the son of Thomas Holt Hutchison and Florence Riley.² He married, firstly, Dorothy Joan Surtees, daughter of Major Henry Siward Balliol Surtees, on 1 March 1920.¹ He and Dorothy Joan Surtees were divorced in 1922.¹ He married, secondly, Winefryde Eleanor Mary Craft, daughter of Reverend Richard Henry Craft, on 31 July 1928.¹ He died in 1979.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.¹ He was educated at Kelvinside Academy, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ He was educated at Stanmore Park School.¹ He fought in the First World War, with Lanarkshire Yeomanry and Indian Cavalry.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Croix de Guerre.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.¹ He was director of J & P Hutchison Ltd and Ailsa Shipbuilding Company Ltd between 1918 and 1933.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1928.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with BEF, SOE and Maquis in France.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1945.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Hutchison, of Rossie [U.K.] on 26 January 1956.¹ He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 10 December 1956.¹

     Thomas Holt Hutchison was born on 3 October 1899.¹ He was the son of Thomas Holt Hutchison and Florence Riley.² He married Agnes Graham Rankin, daughter of James Rankin, in 1925.¹ He died on 2 December 1946 at age 47.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.¹ He fought in the First World War in 1917, with Royal Naval Air Service.¹
