     Major John Martin Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound was born on 16 June 1922. He was the son of John Augustus Gilbert Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Ann Barbara Berkley-Matthews. He died on 6 April 1945 at age 22 at The Netherlands, killed in action.1
     Major John Martin Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Scots Fusiliers.1
