     John Innes, 2nd of Coxton was born circa 1565.2 He was the son of Alexander Innes, 1st of Coxton and Janet Reid.3 He married, secondly, Margaret Gordon.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Kinnaird, daughter of Walter Kinnaird of Culbin, on 15 December 1586.2 He died in 1634.2
