     Maj.-Gen. William Vesey Brownlow was the son of William Brownlow.1 He married, secondly, Lady Kathleen Susan Emma Bligh, daughter of John Stuart Bligh, 6th Earl of Darnley and Lady Harriet Mary Pelham, on 1 June 1904.1 He died on 15 March 1928.1
     Maj.-Gen. William Vesey Brownlow was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1
