     Robert Charles Patrick Miller was born on 17 March 1916 at Wandsworth, London, England.1 He was the son of Hugh Molyneux Miller and Beatrix Frances Dupois Cavendish.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Ogilvie Noall, daughter of William Noall, in 1950.1 He and Elizabeth Ogilvie Noall were divorced in 1953.1 He married, secondly, Lydia Georgina Vaux, daughter of Lt.-Col. A. L. Miéville, on 27 October 1955.1 He died on 2 November 1982 at age 66 at Blyth, Suffolk, England.1
     Robert Charles Patrick Miller usually went by his middle name of Patrick.1 He was educated between January 1930 and February 1933 at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1935 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on 2 July 1937.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 19 September 1939 in the 18th King Edward VII's Own Cavalry, Indian Army.1 He gained the rank of Captain on 28 January 1945.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel on 28 May 1947.1
