     James Alasdair Anderson was the son of James Scott Anderson.2 He married Lady Flavia Joan Lucy Giffard, daughter of Hardinge Goulburn Giffard, 2nd Earl of Halsbury and Esme Wallace, on 14 November 1933.1 He died in 1982.1

     Douglas Hardinge Anderson was born on 8 August 1934.1 He is the son of James Alasdair Anderson and Lady Flavia Joan Lucy Giffard.2 He married, firstly, Mary Elizabeth Siani Jenkins, daughter of John Jenkins, on 3 January 1962.1 He and Mary Elizabeth Siani Jenkins were divorced in 1969.1 He married, secondly, Veronica Margaret Markes, daughter of John Edward Markes, in 1974.1
     Douglas Hardinge Anderson was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He was a portrait painter.1 He lived in 2003 at Luthy, Recess, County Galway, Ireland.1 He lived in 2003 at 56036 Palaia, Prov di Pisa, Italy.1
