     Sir Ian Vere Gyles Isham, 13th Bt. was born on 17 July 1923.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Vere Arthur Richard Isham and Edith Irene Brown.2 He died on 20 October 2009 at age 86.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, in North-West Europe.1 He was educated at Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Company of London Yeomanry.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Armoured Corps.1 He succeeded to the title of 13th Baronet Isham, of Lamport, co. Northampton [E., 1627] on 29 January 1976.2 He lived in 2003 at 40 Turnpike Link, Croydon, Surrey, England.1
