     James Johnstone of Westraw was the son of Herbert Johnstone of Westraw.2 He married Flora Somerville, daughter of unknown Somerville of Cambusnethan.1 He died in January 1570/71, killed by two sons of the 2nd Earl of Arran [1503 creation].1
     He was living in 1560.1

James Johnstone of Westerhall1

     James Johnstone of Westerhall was the son of James Johnstone of Westraw and Flora Somerville.2 He married Euphemia Oliphant, daughter of Laurence Oliphant, 4th Lord Oliphant and Lady Margaret Hay.1 He died in May 1633.1
     In 1605 he sold his lands in lanarkshire and bought Glendoning, Dumfriesshire (later called Westraw or Westerhall).1
