     Walram I 'de Rossige' von Kleve Herr van Valkenburg en Monshau was born in 1253.¹ He was the son of Dietrich II von Kleve Herr von Valkenburg and Bertha van Limburg Edelfrau von Monschau.¹ He married Philippe van Gelre Vrouwe van Susteren, daughter of Otto II 'de Lamme' Graaf van Gelre en Zutphen and Philippe de Dammartin-d'Aumale, in 1270.¹ He died on 5 September 1302.¹
