     Admiral Sir Henry Fairfax is the son of Sir Henry Fairfax.2 He married Harriet Kinloch, daughter of Sir David Kinloch of Gilmerton, 9th Bt. and Eleanor Hyndford Gibson-Carmichael, on 25 April 1872.1
     He was Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) (d ) on 20 March 1900.1
