     John Alfred Stoddard Nash, Baron Nash was born on 22 March 1949.1
     He was educated at Milton Abbey School, Milton Abbas, Dorset, England.1 He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was an Assistant Director of Lazard Brothers and Co Ltd between 1975 and 1983.1 He was managing director of Advent Limited, a private equity firm in 1986.1 He was created Baron Nash, of Ewelme in the County of Oxfordshire [U.K. Life Peer] on 21 January 2013.1 He held the office of Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Schools.1
