     Ruth Mary Gimson was the daughter of Thomas Wallis Gimson.² She married Sir Digby Lawson, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Arthur Tredgold Lawson, 1st Bt. and Louise Frederica Edith Auguste O'Brien, on 20 February 1933.¹ She died on 5 May 1961.¹
     She was Staffordshire.¹ She lived Fenton.¹ Her married name became Lawson.

     Simon Digby Lawson was born on 9 September 1945.¹ He is the son of Sir Digby Lawson, 2nd Bt. and Ruth Mary Gimson.² He married Georgina Mary Sarll, daughter of S/Ldr. J. C. G. Sarll, on 3 June 1972.¹
     He graduated with a Sherborne, London U Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Oxford (MLitt, DPhil).¹
