     Sir Thomas Edward Lees, 4th Bt. was born on 31 January 1925.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir John Victor Elliott Lees, 3rd Bt. and Madeline Annie Pamela Pelly.2 He married, firstly, Faith Justin Jessiman, daughter of George Gaston Jessiman, on 12 March 1949.1 He married, secondly, Anne Christine Kellaway, daughter of Major Cyril Thomas Kellaway, in 1998.1 He died on 19 February 2016 at age 91.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Air Force.1 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Ag.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset in 1951.1 He held the office of Member of the Dorset County Council between 1952 and 1974.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Lees, of South Lytchett House, Lytchett Minster, Dorset [U.K., 1897] on 16 April 1955.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Dorset in 1960.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) by Bournemouth University, Bournemouth, Hampshire, EnglandG, in 1992.1 He lived in 2003 at Post Green, Lytchett Minster, Dorset, EnglandG.1
