Colonel Sir John Victor Elliott Lees, 3rd Bt.1

     Colonel Sir John Victor Elliott Lees, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 December 1887.2 He was the son of Sir Elliott Lees, 1st Bt. and Florence Keith.2 He married Madeline Annie Pamela Pelly, daughter of Sir Harold Pelly, 4th Bt. and Anna Maria Poore, on 30 December 1915.1 He died on 16 April 1955 at age 67.2
     He fought in the First World War, where he was severely wounded, and was mentioned in despatches.2 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Lees, of South Lytchett House, Lytchett Minster, Dorset [U.K., 1897] on 24 August 1915.1 He was decorated with the award of the Croix de Guerre.2 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).2 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet Colonel in the service of the 4th Battalion, Dorset Regiment.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).2 He gained the rank of, Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Reserve of Officers, King's Royal Rifle Corps.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1932 in the service of the Territorial Army.2 He was Officer-in-Charge of the 5th Battalion, Dorset Regiment.2 He fought in the Second World War.2

     Bernard Percy Turnbull Lees was born on 7 September 1891.1 He was the son of Sir Elliott Lees, 1st Bt. and Florence Keith.2 He married Mary Radcliffe, daughter of Colonel Philip John Joseph Radcliffe and Magdalena Maria Dolores Josephine Weld, on 2 June 1919.2 He died on 2 September 1922 at age 30.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Dorset Yeomanry.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).1

     Florence Mary Bernarda Lees was born on 2 January 1885.1 She was the daughter of Sir Elliott Lees, 1st Bt. and Florence Keith.2 She married Hon. James William Best, son of Lt.-Col. George Best, 5th Baron Wynford and Edith Anne Marsh, on 11 August 1914.1 She died on 3 December 1961 at age 76.2
      From 11 August 1914, her married name became Best.

     Alice Irene Dieudonnée Lees was born on 2 May 1902.1 She was the daughter of Sir Elliott Lees, 1st Bt. and Florence Keith.2 She married Lt.-Col. Gerald Stewart Oxley, son of John Stewart Oxley, on 19 September 1929.1 She died in 1982 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2
      From 19 September 1929, her married name became Oxley.

     Alice Sophia Bellingham was born circa 1844. She was the daughter of Sir Alan Edward Bellingham, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Clarke.1 She married Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Arthur Brinsley Brooke, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Julia Henrietta Anson, on 28 July 1864.1 She died on 27 July 1920.2
      Her married name became Brooke.

Sir Alan Edward Bellingham, 3rd Bt.1

     Sir Alan Edward Bellingham, 3rd Bt. was born on 8 October 1800 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was the son of Sir Alan Bellingham, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Walls.1 He married Elizabeth Clarke, daughter of Henry Clarke, on 12 January 1841 at Skirbeck, Lincolnshire, England.1 He died on 19 April 1889 at age 88 at Dunany House, County Louth, Ireland.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1821 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Bellingham, of Castle Bellingham, co. Louth [I., 1796] on 26 August 1827.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Louth in 1829.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1832 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).2
