     Digby Charles Legard was born on 1 July 1851.1 He was the son of Digby Charles Legard and Henrietta Isabella Simpson.2 He married Eleanor Clementina Bruce, daughter of Reverend David Bruce, on 19 August 1880.1 He died on 16 February 1924 at age 72, with another son and two daughters (died young):.1

     Charles Legard was born on 9 June 1887.1 He was the son of Digby Charles Legard and Eleanor Clementina Bruce.2 He married Ethel Gertrude Marriott, daughter of Reverend George Strickland Marriott, on 23 July 1918.1 He died on 15 August 1976 at age 89.1
     He was Captain Lincolnshire Regiment and Aide-de-Camp Personal Staff WW I, Rector Burghclere with Newtown –1958 Berks 1937.1 He was educated Cheltenham and New College Oxford.1 Rev.1 He was Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.1

     He was Lieutenant-Commander Royal Navy WW II.1 He was educated RNC Dartmouth.1 He was Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1943.1 He lived in 2003 at 7 Bells Lane, Tenterden, Kent, England.1
