Archibald Campbell of Lagvinshoch and Monzie was the son of Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenorchy, 1st Bt. and Lady Jean Stewart.2,1 He married, firstly, Catherine Graham, daughter of John Graham of Inchbrakie, on 14 April 1602.1 He married by contract, secondly, Christian Robertson, daughter of Alexander Robertson of Inchmagranoch, on 2 December 1614.1 He died on 10 November 1640.1
On 1601 his name was legally changed to Archibald Campbell of Monzie.1
He had eight sons and a daughter by his second wife.1
