Sydney Herbert Boyle was born on 8 April 1863.1 He was the son of Captain Robert Boyle and Frances Sydney Fremoult Sankey.1 He married Amy Black-Hawkins, daughter of Henry Black-Hawkins, on 13 May 1918.1
Sydney Herbert Boyle was educated at Fettes College, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He was educated at Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the R.P. Captain Edward Louis Dalrymple Boyle was born on 19 December 1864.2 He was the son of Captain Robert Boyle and Frances Sydney Fremoult Sankey.1,2 He married, firstly, Theodosia Isabella Ogilvie, daughter of Hon. Edward David Stewart Ogilvie, on 14 September 1889.2 He married, secondly, Sybil Mary Paget, daughter of Berkeley Paget and Gertrude Fanny Villiers, on 14 September 1912.1 He died on 15 December 1923 at age 58.2
