     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 From 23 April 1862, her married name became Childe.

     Isabella Leighton was the daughter of Sir Baldwin Leighton, 7th Bt. and Mary Parker.2 She married, firstly, Beriah Botfield on 28 October 1857.1 She married, secondly, Alfred Seymour, son of Henry Seymour and Jane Hopkinson, on 18 August 1866.1 She died on 7 April 1911.1
     From 28 October 1857, her married name became Botfield. From 18 August 1866, her married name became Seymour.1
