     Adoph Prinz von Nassau-Schaumburg was born on 23 January 1629.1 He was the son of Ludwig Heinrich Prinz von Nassau-Dillenburg and Catherine von Sayn-Wittgenstein.1 He married Elisabeth Charlotte von Holzappel, daughter of Peter Melander Graf von Holzappel, in 1653.1 He died on 19 December 1676 at age 47.1
