     Margaret Jean Leslie was the daughter of Sir Charles Henry Leslie and Emma May Edwards.² She married Lt.-Col. Albert Elijah Walter, son of E Walter, on 5 March 1903.¹ She died in April 1966.¹
      Her married name became Walter. She was Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.¹
