     George Butler Lloyd was born on 8 January 1854.1 He was the son of William Butler Lloyd and Jane Emilia Hunt.2 He married Constance Mary Jenkins, daughter of Colonel Richard Jenkins, on 22 January 1880.1 He died on 28 March 1930 at age 76.1
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of the Shropshire County Council.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Shrewsbury between 1913 and 1922.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shrewsbury.1 He lived at Shelton Hall, Shropshire, England.1
