     Giselbert, Duc de Lorraine was born circa 890.1 He was the son of Reginar I Comte de Hainaut Herzog von Lothringen and Alberade von Kleve.1 He married Gerberge von Sachsen, daughter of Heinrich I von Sachsen, Holy Roman Emperor and Mathilda von Ringelheim, in 929.1 He died on 2 October 939, drowned attempting to ford the Rhine in armour after his defeat near Andernach.1

     Simon Fraser, Master of Lovat was born on 19 October 1726.1 He was the son of Simon Fraser, 11th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Margaret Grant.2 He died on 8 February 1782 at age 55, without issue.1
     He was styled as Master of Lovat between 1730 and 1745.1 In 1745 he joined his father in the Rising.1 In 1750 he was pardoned.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Inverness between 1761 and 1782.1 In 1774 he got back his father's forfeited lands.1 He fought in the American War of Independence.1
