     Adelaide Louisa Scott was the daughter of Colonel Courtenay Harvey Saltron Scott.2 She married Dr. James Gray Flowerdew Lowson, son of William Lowson and Helen Flowerdew, on 19 April 1890.1 She died on 21 May 1948.1
      From 19 April 1890, her married name became Lowson.

Courtenay Patrick Flowerdew Lowson1

     Courtenay Patrick Flowerdew Lowson was born in 1897.1 He was the son of Dr. James Gray Flowerdew Lowson and Adelaide Louisa Scott.2 He died on 3 November 1917, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Rifle Brigade attached to the Royal Flying Corps.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Eleanor Margaret Lowson was born in 1892.1 She was the daughter of Dr. James Gray Flowerdew Lowson and Adelaide Louisa Scott.2 She married Maj.-Gen. William Revell Revell Smith in 1920.1
      Norma.1 She fought in the First World War, where she was mentioned in despatches.1 She gained the rank of Officer in the service of the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry.1 She was decorated with the award of the Croix de Guerre (with Bronze Star).1 She was decorated with the award of the Medaille de la Reine Elizabeth with Croix Rouge.1 From 1920, her married name became Smith. She was Commander of the 200 FANY/ATS Drivers attached to Southern Command and Recruiting Officer Midlands where she was again mentioned in despatches.1

     Maj.-Gen. William Revell Revell Smith married Eleanor Margaret Lowson, daughter of Dr. James Gray Flowerdew Lowson and Adelaide Louisa Scott, in 1920.1 He died on 4 June 1956.1
     He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).1 He was decorated with the award of the Member, Order of Australia (A.M.).1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Royal Horse Artillery.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).1 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was General Officer Commanding of the Malta between 1947 and 1949.1
