     He was Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).2 He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) (I).2 He was Sec Local Government and Taxation of Town Commn and Poor Law and Lunacy Inquiry Commn Ireland, Commissioner of Municipal Boundaries Ireland , Inspr Local Government Board 1879–91, Commissioner of 1891–98 and V-Pres 1898–1920 in 1878.2 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Robinson on 30 January 1920.2 On 30 January 1920 so created.2
