     Alexander 'mac Eachine' MacAlister of Loup was the son of Hector MacAlister of Loup.2 He died, without issue.1
      In 1573 he had a charter from the Earl of Argyll.1

     Godfrey MacAlister of Loup is the son of Hector MacAlister of Loup.2
      In 1591 he had a charter from the Earl of Argyll as Gorrie mac Eachine vic Alester vic Ean Dubh (‘Godfrey son of Hector son of Alexander descended from Black John').1

     Hector MacAlister of Loup is the son of Godfrey MacAlister of Loup.2 He married Margaret Campbell, daughter of Colin Campbell of Kilberry, on 11 March 1620.1
      He had charters from the Earl of Argyll of Loup, designated Hector mac Gorry vic Eachine vic Allister vic Ean dubh.1

     Alexander MacAlister of Loup is the son of Godfrey MacAlister of Loup and unknown daughter Montgomerie.2 He married Jane Campbell, daughter of Sir James Campbell of Auchinbreck, 5th Bt..1
      He was a Jacobite.1 He fought in the Battle of Killiecrankie.1 He fought in the Battle of the Boyne.1

     Lt.-Cdr. Adrian John Bomback was born in 1945 at Watford, Hertfordshire, England.2 He married Janet Erskine Ferguson, daughter of Roland Edward Stuart Ferguson and Veronica Catherine Hawker, in 1978.1 He died on 25 January 1990, killed by falling tree in storm.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He graduated with a Master of Science (M.Sc.).1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1
