R. M. Waddell, daughter of Bryson Waddell, in 1984.1 He and Carolyn E. R. M. Waddell were divorced in 1993.1 He married, secondly, Serena Solitaire Wendell, daughter of Major Jac Wendell and Anthea Peronelle Maxwell-Hyslop, in 1999.1

Waddell is the daughter of Bryson Waddell.1 She married John Colum Crichton-Stuart, 7th Marquess of the County of Bute, son of John Crichton-Stuart, 6th Marquess of the County of Bute and Beatrice Nicola Grace Weld Forester, in 1984.2 She and John Colum Crichton-Stuart, 7th Marquess of the County of Bute were divorced in 1993.2
      Carolyn E. R. M. Waddell also went by the nick-name of Freddy.1 Her married name became Crichton-Stuart. As a result of her marriage, Carolyn E. R. M. Waddell was styled as Marchioness of Bute in 1993.
