     He was Vicar at St. Peter's, Stockport, Cheshire, England.1 He lived at Château Pont Pillet, Lehon, France.1

     Major François Mackenzie was born on 16 September 1823.1 He was the son of John Mackenzie and Marie Barbier Deshayeux.2 He married Julia Mercer, daughter of John Mercer, on 4 April 1854.1 He died on 18 March 1893 at age 69.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Bengal Light Infantry.1

George Frederic Campbell Mackenzie1

     George Frederic Campbell Mackenzie was born on 22 October 1855.1 He was the son of Major François Mackenzie and Julia Mercer.2 He married Emily Mary Boulton, daughter of Captain Joseph Boulton, on 31 December 1885.1 He died on 6 February 1909 at age 53.1
     He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Suffolk Regiment.1
