     Lt.-Col. George Grenville Malet was born on 7 March 1806.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Warre Malet, 1st Bt. and Susanna Wales.2 He married Mary Maria Fleming Taylor, daughter of Colonel John Taylor, on 31 March 1851.1 He died on 9 December 1856 at age 50, killed in action.1
     He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 3rd Bombay Light Cavalry.1 He fought in the Persian War in 1856.1

     Mary Maria Fleming Taylor was the daughter of Colonel John Taylor.2 She married Lt.-Col. George Grenville Malet, son of Sir Charles Warre Malet, 1st Bt. and Susanna Wales, on 31 March 1851.1 She died on 26 January 1905.1
     From 31 March 1851, her married name became Malet.

     Allan Arthur Grenville Malet was born on 22 February 1856.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. George Grenville Malet and Mary Maria Fleming Taylor.2 He married Elizabeth Anne Lysaght, daughter of William Lysaght, in 1890.1 He died on 12 September 1937 at age 81.1
     He was with the Public Works Dept India, as Department Chief Engineer.1 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)1

     Elizabeth Anne Lysaght was the daughter of William Lysaght.2 She married Allan Arthur Grenville Malet, son of Lt.-Col. George Grenville Malet and Mary Maria Fleming Taylor, in 1890.1 She died on 29 January 1953.1
     From 1890, her married name became Malet.

     Hugh Arthur Grenville Malet was born on 22 September 1891.1 He was the son of Allan Arthur Grenville Malet and Elizabeth Anne Lysaght.2 He died on 18 April 1915 at age 23, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the King's Own Scottish Borderers.1

     Colonel George Edward Grenville Malet was born on 15 February 1898.1 He was the son of Allan Arthur Grenville Malet and Elizabeth Anne Lysaght.2 He married, firstly, Gwendoline Iliffe Gibbon, daughter of Brig.-Gen. James Aubrey Gibbon, on 15 July 1922.1 He and Gwendoline Iliffe Gibbon were divorced in 1938.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Bell Wright in 1939.1 He died on 1 August 1952 at age 54.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1943.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps.1

     Gwendoline Iliffe Gibbon was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. James Aubrey Gibbon.1 She married, firstly, Colonel George Edward Grenville Malet, son of Allan Arthur Grenville Malet and Elizabeth Anne Lysaght, on 15 July 1922.1 She and Colonel George Edward Grenville Malet were divorced in 1938.1 She married, secondly, Rear-Admiral Ernest William Leir in 1938.1 She died in 1980.1
     From 15 July 1922, her married name became Malet. From 1938, her married name became Leir.1

     Dr. Baldwin Hugh Grenville Malet was born on 13 February 1928.1 He was the son of Colonel George Edward Grenville Malet and Gwendoline Iliffe Gibbon.2 He married Kathleen Patricia Morris, daughter of Arthur Morris, on 25 July 1959.1 He died on 13 March 2005 at age 77 at Taunton, Somerset, England.3
