     Robert Dundas, 4th Viscount Melville of Melville was born on 14 September 1803.1 He was the son of Robert Saunders-Dundas, 2nd Viscount Melville of Melville and Anne Huck-Saunders.2 He died on 18 February 1886 at age 82, without issue.1
     He held the office of Deputy Comptroller of the Navy in 1830.1 He held the office of Storekeeper-General of the Navy between 1832 and 1869.1 He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Melville of Melville, co. Edinburgh [U.K., 1802] on 1 February 1876.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Dunira, co. Perth [U.K., 1802] on 1 February 1876.1

     Henry Dundas, 5th Viscount Melville of Melville was born on 8 March 1835 at Great Henny, Essex, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of Reverend Hon. Charles Dundas and Louisa Maria Boothby.3 He married Hon. Violet Marie Louise Cochrane-Wishart-Baillie, daughter of Alexander Dundas Ross Cochrane-Wishart-Baillie, 1st Baron Lamington and Annabella Mary Elizabeth Drummond, on 18 June 1891.1 He died on 3 November 1904 at age 69.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron Dunira, co. Perth [U.K., 1802] on 18 February 1886.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Melville of Melville, co. Edinburgh [U.K., 1802] on 18 February 1886.1
