     Hon. Antony Thomas Lewis was born on 4 June 1947.¹ He is the son of William Brereton Couchman Lewis, 3rd Baron Merthyr and Violet Meyrick.² He married Mary Carola Melton Paine, daughter of Reverend Humphrey John Paine, on 17 April 1974.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from University of Wales, Wales, with a Master of Laws (LL.M.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1971 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was Lecturer in 1976 at University College, Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹ He was chairman of Powys Family Health Services Authority between 1990 and 1996.¹ He was chairman of Powys Health Care NHS Trust between 1996 and 2003.¹ He was member of the Competition Appeal Tribunal in 2000.¹ He lived in 2003 at Brynglocsen, Dolanog, Welshpool, Powys, Wales^G.¹

     Reverend Humphrey John Paine lived at Fressingfield Vicarage, Diss, Norfolk, England.¹

     Mary Carola Melton Paine is the daughter of Reverend Humphrey John Paine.² She married Hon. Antony Thomas Lewis, son of William Brereton Couchman Lewis, 3rd Baron Merthyr and Violet Meyrick, on 17 April 1974.¹
     From 17 April 1974, her married name became Lewis.

     Colonel David Hepburn was the son of James Hepburn of Keith and Katherine Rickart.¹ He married Bethia Graham, daughter of James Graham of Damside, on 5 September 1774.¹ He died on 5 June 1791.²

     Katherine Hepburn is the daughter of James Hepburn of Keith and Katherine Rickart.¹ She married David Graham, 3rd of Braco and of Gorthie, son of James Graham, 2nd of Braco and Catherine Stirling.¹
     Her married name became Graham.¹

     Margaret Melville was the daughter of John Melville, 5th of Raith and Isobel Lundie.¹ She married Sir James Wemyss of Bogie, son of Sir David Wemyss of Wemyss and Cecilia Ruthven, in 1585.¹ She died in October 1598.¹
     From 1585, her married name became Wemyss.¹
