     Lt.-Cdr. Barrington George Dashwood Stopford was born on 13 September 1889.¹ He was the son of Major Hon. Edward Barrington Lewis Henry Stopford and Isabel Alice Dashwood.¹ He married Muriel Florence Mary Lewarne, daughter of Reverend Nathaniel Nicholas Lewarne, on 27 November 1918.¹ He died on 19 July 1930 at age 40.¹
     Lt.-Cdr. Barrington George Dashwood Stopford gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.¹

     Muriel Florence Mary Lewarne was the daughter of Reverend Nathaniel Nicholas Lewarne.¹ She married Lt.-Cdr. Barrington George Dashwood Stopford, son of Major Hon. Edward Barrington Lewis Henry Stopford and Isabel Alice Dashwood, on 27 November 1918.¹ She died in 1980.¹
     Her married name became Stopford.
