     Major Hon. Edward Barrington Lewis Henry Stopford was born on 20 November 1858.1 He was the son of James George Henry Stopford, 5th Earl of Courtown and Hon. Elizabeth Frances Milles.1 He married, firstly, Isabel Alice Dashwood, daughter of Captain Barrington Dashwood, on 21 November 1888.1 He married, secondly, Alice Maud Pashley Burbeary, daughter of James Pashley Burbeary, on 18 September 1895.1 He died on 9 June 1909 at age 50.1
     Major Hon. Edward Barrington Lewis Henry Stopford gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 3rd Battalion, Royal Irish Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the South of Ireland Imperial Yeomanry.1

     Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Shelley, 5th Bt. was born on 14 May 1838.2 He was the son of John Shelley and Elizabeth Bowen. He married Lady Mary Jane Jemima Stopford, daughter of James George Henry Stopford, 5th Earl of Courtown and Hon. Elizabeth Frances Milles, on 3 August 1869.1 He died on 20 July 1902 at age 64.2
     Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Shelley, 5th Bt. held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Scots Guards.2 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Shelley, of Castle Goring, co. Sussex [U.K., 1806] on 17 September 1890.2
