     Maj.-Gen. Sir Alexander Bruce Tulloch was the son of Lt.-Col. J. G. D. Tulloch.2 He married Constance Marion Brandreth, daughter of Reverend William Harper Brandreth and Mary Brandreth, in 1907.1 He died on 25 May 1920.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1

Colonel Frederick Gandy1

     Colonel Frederick Gandy was born on 16 September 1812.1 He was the son of Joseph Pilkington Brandreth and Alice Harper.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Marianne Agassiz, daughter of Lewis Agassiz, in 1842.1 He married, secondly, Jane Gandy, daughter of James Gandy and Annie Hogarth Long, on 8 January 1846.1 He died on 25 May 1883 at age 70.1
     He was given the name of Frederick Brandreth at birth.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scots Guards.1 In 1859 his name was legally changed to Frederick Gandy by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Westmorland.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Westmorland.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Westmorland in 1862.1 He lived at Heaves, Westmorland, England.1

Alice Mary Brandreth1

     Alice Mary Brandreth was born in 1854.1 She was the daughter of Edward Lyall Brandreth and Louisa Marriott.2 She married, firstly, James Edward Henry Gordon, son of James Alexander Gordon and Elizabeth Catherine Brandreth.1 She married, secondly, John George Butcher, 1st and last Baron Danesfort, son of Most Rev. Rt. Hon. Samuel Butcher and Mary Leahy, on 9 April 1898.1 She died on 16 June 1929.1
     From 3 February 1893, her married name became Gordon. From 9 April 1898, her married name became Butcher.1 After her marriage, Alice Mary Brandreth was styled as Baroness Danesfort on 19 February 1924.
