James Milnes Gandy Gandy1

     James Milnes Gandy Gandy was born on 29 September 1850.1 He is the son of Colonel Frederick Gandy and Jane Gandy.2 He married Annie Lucy Stanley Tyndale, daughter of John Nash Tyndale, on 21 April 1880.1 He died on 7 July 1917 at age 66.1
     He was given the name of James Milnes Gandy Brandreth at birth.1 In 1859 his name was legally changed to James Milnes Gandy Gandy.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Westmorland in 1892.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Westmorland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Westmorland.1 He lived at Heaves, Westmorland, England.1

Annis Lucy Harriet Gandy1

     Annis Lucy Harriet Gandy was born in 1848.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Frederick Gandy and Jane Gandy.2 She married John Formby on 16 June 1881.1 She died on 22 August 1921.1
      From 16 June 1881, her married name became Formby.

     John Nash Tyndale was born circa 1815.2 He married Charlotte Flora Hulme in 1841 at Totnes, Devon, England.2 He died on 23 February 1868 at Bruges, Belgium.2
     He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practice as a barrister-at-law.2 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).2

     Annis Vere Gandy was born on 26 September 1884.1 She was the daughter of James Milnes Gandy Gandy and Annie Lucy Stanley Tyndale.2 She married Major William Donald Paul Watson-Gandy, son of William Clarence Watson and Mary Louisa Hulton, on 12 December 1906.1 She and Major William Donald Paul Watson-Gandy were divorced in 1932.1
      From 12 December 1906, her married name became Watson.1 From 1918, her married name became Watson-Gandy.

     Major William Donald Paul Watson-Gandy was born in 1872.2 He was the son of William Clarence Watson and Mary Louisa Hulton.2 He married Annis Vere Gandy, daughter of James Milnes Gandy Gandy and Annie Lucy Stanley Tyndale, on 12 December 1906.1 He and Annis Vere Gandy were divorced in 1932.1 He died in 1947.2
     He was given the name of William Donald Paul Watson at birth.2 He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Scots Guards.2 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 In 1918 his name was legally changed to William Donald Paul Watson-Gandy by Deed Poll.2
