     David John Charlton Meyrick was born on 2 December 1926.1 He was the son of Thomas Frederick Meyrick and Ivy Frances Pilkington.2 He married Penelope Anne Marsden-Smedley, daughter of Commander John Bertram Aubrey Marsden-Smedley, on 29 September 1962.1 He died in 2004.1
     He was also known as 4th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 In 1948 FRICS, FCLAS.1 He graduated in 1948 with a Eton and Trin Hall Cambridge Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) , Master of Arts (M.A.) 1956).1
