She married Bernard Julian Collis, son of Nicholas Edward Robert Collis and Mary Jane McShane, on 17 April 1954 at St. Thomas More's Church, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.1 She died on 20 November 2009 at age 91 at Karingal Home for the Aged, Devonport, Tasmania, Australia.1
