     Sir James Louis Fitzroy Scott Douglas, 6th Bt. was born posthumously on 24 October 1930.1 He was the son of Captain George Francis Valentine Scott Douglas and Lady Blanche Linnie Somerset.1 He died on 16 July 1969 at age 38, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Douglas, of Springwood Park. He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was 2nd Lieutenant, 15th/19th King's Royal Hussars.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Lothians and Border Horse.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
