     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Nugent [Austria, 1859] on 24 October 1864.1

     Algernon John Fitzroy Nugent, 4th Baron Nugent was born on 5 October 1865.1 He was the son of Albert Llewellyn Nugent, 3rd Baron Nugent and Elizabeth Baltazzi.1 He married Clara Tapps-Gervis-Meyrick, daughter of Sir George Tapps-Gervis-Meyrick, 3rd Bt. and Fanny Harland, on 13 August 1895.2 He died on 15 March 1922 at age 56.1
     Winchfield.2 He lived Gally Hill.2 He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Nugent [Austria, 1859] on 2 February 1909.1 In 1915 he discontinued use of his Austrian title.1 In 1920 his discontinuance was authorised by a Royal Warrant.1
