     Edward Henry Churchill Crofton, 3rd Baron Crofton of Mote was born on 21 October 1834.1 He was the son of Edward Crofton, 2nd Baron Crofton of Mote and Lady Georgina Paget.2 He died on 22 September 1912 at age 77, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Lowther-Crofton, of The Moate, co. Roscommon [I., 1758] on 27 December 1869.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Crofton of Mote, co. Roscommon [I., 1798] on 27 December 1869.1 He was State Steward to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland in 1880.1 He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland].1 He was Gentleman-in-Waiting to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland between 1886 and 1892.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Roscommon.1

     Audrey Evelyn Jagger was the daughter of Walter Jagger.1 She married Sir George Edward John Mahon, 6th Bt., son of Sir William Henry Mahon, 5th Bt. and Hon. Edith Augusta Dillon, on 20 September 1938.1 She died on 4 April 1957.1
     Her married name became Mahon.

     Sir William Walter Mahon, 7th Bt. was born on 4 December 1940.1 He is the son of Sir George Edward John Mahon, 6th Bt. and Audrey Evelyn Jagger.1 He married Rosemary Jane Melvill, daughter of Lt.-Col. Michael Ernest Melvill, on 20 April 1968.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of officer between 1959 and 1962 in the Irish Guards.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Mahon, of Castlegar, co. Galway [U.K., 1819] on 16 December 1987.2 He was admitted to Gentleman-at-Arms in 1993.2 He was appointed Lieutenant, Royal Victorian Order (L.V.O.) in 2011.3
