Edith Augusta Dillon, on 17 July 1929.1 He married, thirdly, Olive Delacey Tainton in 1946.1 He married, fourthly, Madeleine Barbara Heath, daughter of William James Heath, on 4 October 1951.1 He and Marguerite Welchman were divorced in 1923.1 He and Ursula Augusta Jane Mahon were divorced in 1946.1 He died on 23 May 1962 at age 63.1

     Arthur Edward Lowther Crofton, 4th Baron Crofton of Mote was born on 7 August 1866.2 He was the son of Hon. Charles St. George Crofton and Theresa Augusta Bunbury-Tighe.2 He married Jessie Castle Hewitson, daughter of James Hewitson, on 14 April 1893.2 He died on 15 June 1942 at age 75.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Roscommon.2 He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland].2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Northumberland Fusiliers.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Lowther-Crofton, of The Moate, co. Roscommon [I., 1758] on 22 September 1912.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Crofton of Mote, co. Roscommon [I., 1798] on 22 September 1912.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 12th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Roscommon.2

     Jessie Castle Hewitson was the daughter of James Hewitson. She married, firstly, Neville Paddon before 1893.1 She married, secondly, Arthur Edward Lowther Crofton, 4th Baron Crofton of Mote, son of Hon. Charles St. George Crofton and Theresa Augusta Bunbury-Tighe, on 14 April 1893.1 She died on 19 January 1923.
     From before 1893, her married name became Paddon.1 Her married name became Crofton. After her marriage, Jessie Castle Hewitson was styled as Baroness Crofton of Mote on 22 September 1912.
