     Gladys White was the daughter of Field Marshal Sir George Stuart White.² She married Albert Edward Alexander Napier, son of Field Marshal Robert Cornelis Napier, 1st Baron Napier of Magdala and Mary Cecilia Scott, on 29 August 1917.¹ She died in 1978.¹
     She was Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.).¹ She was Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Star of India (G.C.S.I.).¹ She was Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.).¹ She was Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (G.C.I.E.).¹ She was Victoria Cross (V.C.).¹ Her married name became Napier. She was Order of Merit (O.M.).¹ She was Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.).¹

     George Robert Edward Napier was born on 26 August 1920.¹ He was the son of Albert Edward Alexander Napier and Gladys White.² He died on 23 March 1942 at age 21, on active service.¹
     He was educated Eton and New College Oxford.¹ He was 2nd Lieutenant King's Royal Rifle Corps WW II.¹

     Patricia Mary Stuart Napier was born on 18 June 1918.¹ She is the daughter of Albert Edward Alexander Napier and Gladys White.² She married Philip Ernest Ricardo English, son of Cecil Rowe English, on 2 June 1948.¹
      Her married name became English.

     Philip Ernest Ricardo English was the son of Cecil Rowe English.² He married Patricia Mary Stuart Napier, daughter of Albert Edward Alexander Napier and Gladys White, on 2 June 1948.¹ He died on 26 November 2002.¹
